Patrick's Story

Life Patrick Del Vecchio ended a 32-year career in the Foreign Service in September, 2006. During this stint, Del Vecchio had tours in Bangkok, Rome, Oslo, Hong Kong, Lagos, Abuja, Sao Paulo, and Ottawa. In his last posting, he served at Director for International Labor Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility at the Department of State. ttawa, Chief of Refugee Protection in Bangkok, Officer-in-Charge US Embassy Office Abuja, and worked as a political and labor officer in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Oslo and Sao Paulo. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Del Vecchio also pursued graduate studies at the University of Florida and Hong Kong University. Del Vecchio is a life-long aficionado of sports in general and running in particular. Last month he completed the Marine Marathon the same day he started.
